Position Overview: The Customer Service Consultant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. This team member is skilled in anticipating customer needs, providing solutions, and suggesting alternatives while being knowledgeable in various areas, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping. Responsibilities include managing orders, coordinating store activities, offering pricing and product information, and recommending suitable FedEx Office products and services. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with supervisors and assist team members in store functions. Contribute to the training of fellow team members. Utilize consultative skills to meet individualized customer needs. Provide expertise in printing, signs, graphics, and shipping to recommend suitable products and services. Ensure outstanding service by resolving customer issues quickly and effectively. Process complex customer orders with accurate pricing. Assemble and prepare shipments by weighing, wrapping, and labeling packages. Set up and operate various printing and binding equipment. Maintain a clean and orderly retail environment. Handle customer data and documents with confidentiality and care. Manage financial transactions using Point of Sale (POS) systems. Keep all store equipment stocked and in optimal condition. Stay informed about merchandising materials and ensure proper product display. Actively prevent errors and waste to uphold efficiency. Complete financial paperwork and assist with reports as needed. Follow procedural guidelines and adhere to company policies. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Essential Functions: Ability to stand for extended periods. Capable of lifting up to 55 pounds. Proficient in bending and twisting as needed. Effectively communicate with customers and team members. Successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Maintain concentration and attention to detail. Work with minimal supervision. Adhere to scheduled hours to support store operations.
