Job Description

Andrew Morgan, LLC is a rapidly growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone-certified organization. We are seeking a qualified Data Scientist to support a potential contract award with Library of Congress. This role is contingent upon contract award and will play a critical part in our efforts to deliver exceptional results for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced quantitative analysis of large, complex datasets.
• Develop algorithms, models, and software to support predictive analytics and machine learning.
• Translate data insights into clear, actionable intelligence for decision-makers.
• Collaborate with visualization specialists and software engineers to develop end-to-end data products.
• Apply data conditioning, transformation, and modeling techniques to real-world use cases.

Requirements

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in tools like Python, R, SAS, Stata.
• Experience analyzing large cross-sectional and time-series data.
• Knowledge of big data environments and data cleaning practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with federal data or open government datasets.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments.
• Exposure to AI/ML techniques in public sector applications.

Salary

Salary is commensurate with both location and experience.
