Responsibilities

• Successful record of mediation experience
• Significant and successful trial experience
• Researching and analyzing the law on complex legal issues
• Writing memorandums, briefs, letters, and other documents
• Marketing your and the firm’s services to prospective clients
• Performing discovery of electronically stored data and hard copies of information in preparation for litigation
• Performing due diligence in all matters
• Strong communication and advocacy skills, including competence in empathetic listening
• Managing a schedule to allow for consults and closure of consults to sufficient reach production/collection objectives.
• Closing consults within Gravis range of 30-50% depending on practice area
• Timely approval of invoices which is critical to the health of the business on a month-to-month basis monthly cycle.
• Ensure support staff are fully utilized and productive
• Accurately and completely update case management system with fees, engagement, trust, client information, invoices etc. as required
• If over-subscribed share work tasks with other attorney and support staff to ensure we are meeting our objective to serve our communities
• Actively engage in brand (personal and firm) expansion through blogs social media posts, board, and organization participation,
• Actively seek positive comments from successful client engagements and positive star review
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Qualificat

• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
• Excellent legal research skills
• Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
• Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the bar in the state in which you intend to practice
• 5+ years of experience as an attorney
