It requires an independent, detailed-oriented, team player that will take ownership and assist multiple internal and external customers in all aspects of a project once it is turned over. Key Responsibilities Coordinate submittal process with internal sales people, vendors, and customers.Includes product data, shop drawings, engineering, etc. Coordinate submittal process with internal sales people, vendors, and customers.Includes product data, shop drawings, engineering, etc.Drafting ability to create shop drawings would be a bonus. Visit jobsites for field measurements and coordination purposes. Manage/oversee the approval of all required submittals prior to release. Purchase materials as required and arrange deliveries. Manage and Coordinate internal & external Labor Partners on Turnkey projects. Track project schedules, manpower availability, and material lead times to streamline labor scheduling. Coordinate change orders between field personnel, customers, and internal salespeople as needed. Manage completion of punchlist items. Organize closeout documents and ensure all closeouts are completed in a timely manner. Coordinate change orders with customers and internal stakeholders (salespeople etc). Insure that projects are invoiced as soon as reasonably possible. Provide estimating support to sales staff as needed during sales process. Safety oversight and adherence to company program. Travel: Weekly site visits through the Chicagoland area as well as Northeast Indiana and Southwest Wisconsin. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor of Science in engineering, construction, construction management, or related technical field preferred. Additional education or certifications in relevant fields are a plus. Experience with BlueBeam Revu or Adobe Acrobat (i.e., editing/drawing review software) and MS Office Suite; Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, PlanGrid, or similar) are a plus. Drafting ability to create shop drawings is a plus. Highly motivate, determined and target driven work ethic is required. Attention to detail is required. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is required. Teamwork and entrepreneurial spirit is required. Problem solving skills and time management is required.
