Job Description

Job Summary

Own and optimize our inventory, purchasing, and warehouse processes to ensure zero delays, tight cost control, and razor-sharp accuracy. You’ll keep our supply chain flowing, our ERP system clean, and our shelves stocked — without chaos.

Outcomes / What Winning Looks Like:

  • 100% of purchase orders placed on time with clear follow-up tracking
  • Daily inventory reconciliations completed with discrepancies flagged and resolved within 24 hours
  • Consumables always stocked via proactive checklist and reordering process
  • ERP system reflects real-time inventory with <2% error margin
  • Warehouse pick stations are stocked daily, reducing packing delays by 90%
  • Receiving accuracy >98% on inbound shipments
  • Cycle counts executed weekly with adjustments entered before EOD
  • Backorders proactively tracked and updated, with Days of Supply always monitored
  • Stock master file maintained and audited monthly for accuracy

Responsibilities:

  • Place purchase orders, confirm lead times, and follow up with suppliers
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments (equipment, raw materials, consumables)
  • Track inventory levels, reconcile discrepancies, and conduct cycle counts
  • Manage and optimize item locations and descriptions in the ERP system
  • Coordinate put-away, replenishment, and warehouse layout efficiency
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness and perform general maintenance as needed
  • Monitor backorders and inventory velocity to avoid stockouts
  • Accurately enter receipts, verify invoices, and track return products
  • Maintain pick stations and stock replenishment schedules
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or quality issues and handle rejections

Requirements:

  • 2+ years managing inventory and purchasing (ERP experience required)
  • Proficiency with  Microsoft Excel Google Workspace Zoom , and  Teams
  • Experience with inventory systems, cycle counts, and warehouse workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and operate in a physical warehouse environment
