Overview :
A private individual in Beverly Hills is seeking an exceptional private chef to create unparalleled culinary experiences that blend artistry, sophistication, and family-centered dining. This is a rare opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic household, serving a UHNW individual, with occasionally two additional guests. The role requires a chef who is not only creative and precise but also flexible in tailoring meals to diverse tastes and dietary restrictions. This role will report directly to the Estate Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Culinary Excellence:
· Execute 5 days a week, preparing lunches and daily dinner service, creating multi-course meals with precision.
· Develop weekly menus that balance family favorites with innovative global cuisine.
· Prepare custom, health-conscious meals that respect dietary restrictions, including low sodium, pescatarian, and vegetarian diets.
· Demonstrate a multifaceted approach towards all aspects of the culinary experience, including table setting, serving, drink service, menu planning, and kitchen shut-down.
· Prepare travel and weekend food for the principle, as needed.
Operational Efficiency:
· Oversee monthly inventory, ingredient sourcing, and procurement to ensure the highest quality and freshness.
· Complete monthly financial reporting, with variance notes.
· Maintain an impeccably organized and professionally managed kitchen environment.
· Prepare specialty items such as artisanal sauces, ice creams, and other custom culinary creations.
· Provide advanced menu planning to align with the family’s lifestyle and preferences, ensuring flexibility with seasonal and travel commitments.
· Complete other administrative tasks, as they pertain to the culinary department.
Qualifications:
Professional Experience:
· A minimum of 5 years of experience as a private chef or in a high-end restaurant environment.
· Experience in front-of-house service procedures and fine dining etiquette.
· Expertise in a wide range of culinary traditions, with an emphasis on pescatarian, vegetarian, farm-to-table and seasonal cooking.
· Advanced skills in meal planning and preparation, accommodating diverse dietary preferences, especially low-sodium, vegetarian, and pescatarian diets.
· Proven ability to adapt to last minute menu changes, and guest additions.
· Proficient in managing kitchen operations, including inventory control, cost savings, and sourcing.
· Strong computer literacy skills ( Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel)

· Current needs are Monday-Friday, with flexibility for special events or dinners.
· The ability to execute lunch and dinner 5 days per week, with the occasional breakfast and lunch schedule adjustment.
