Job Description

IES Residential is currently seeking an Electrician Helper - Installation and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment. Measures, cuts, and bends wire using hand tools Drills holes for wiring, using power drill, and pulls or pushes wiring through opening Assist with installation and repair of outlets, lights, fixtures, and switches Carry, hold, and position materials required to complete the project Maintain tools and equipment and keeps supplies and parts in order Communicate with others and take direction given by leadership Promptly reports unsafe conditions to responsible person Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 0-2 Specific Qualifications Duties & Responsibilities may include: Assist in completion of house rough in to include measuring, cutting, and pulling wire Install trim to include plugs, lights, fixtures, and switches Carry materials and tools Clean work area and equipment Maintains working relationship with leadman and division manager Reports progress and problems to management regularly and provides creative solutions Maintains knowledge of and enforces company safety rules and procedures Quickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazard to the responsible person Communicate with others, including taking direction from leadman Residential Electrical new construction experience A valid driver's license Must be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirements Already have basic tools is a plus Ability to work in extreme weather Ability to climb ladders License Required Yes Job Locations US-GA-Kennesaw Company Overview IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions for the commercial, industrial, residential and renewable energy markets.
